Staff Promotion: Win your policy back 2025

Terms and Conditions: "Win Your Policy Back" Travel Insurance Promotion 

  1. Promotion Period: The "Win Your Policy Back" promotion (the "Promotion") is valid for Southern Cross Travel Insurance policies purchased by eligible staff members between Monday June 16, 2025, and Monday June 30, 2025 (the "Promotion Period"). 
  2. Eligibility: This Promotion is open to all current staff members (employees and contractors) of Southern Cross Travel Insurance, Southern Cross Health Society, Southern Cross Pet Insurance and Southern Cross Healthcare who are employed at the time of purchasing the travel insurance policy and at the time of the prize draw. 
  3. How to Enter: Each eligible staff member shall receive one (1) entry into the prize draw for every new travel insurance policy that they, as the primary policyholder, purchase from Southern Cross Travel Insurance during the Promotion Period.  
    3a. Policy Requirements:  
    - The eligible staff member must be explicitly named as an insured party on the policy. 
    - While friends and family members may be included on the same policy, their inclusion does not grant additional entries into the prize draw. 
    - The policy must be paid in full by the eligible staff member. 
    3b. Form Submission: To validate their entry, the eligible staff member must accurately complete and submit the designated form provided by Southern Cross Travel Insurance for each qualifying policy purchased. 
  4. The Prize: There will be one (1) winner selected for each entity (Southern Cross Travel Insurance, Southern Cross Health Society, Southern Cross Pet Insurance and Southern Cross Healthcare). The one (1) winner from each entity will receive a refund of their travel insurance base policy premium (after staff discount) which was purchased during the Promotional Period. If a staff member purchased multiple policies, the refund will apply to the policy with the highest base premium paid by that individual. 
  5. Prize Draw: The prize draw will take place on Monday, 7 July 2025 at the offices of Southern Cross Travel Insurance, 155 Fanshawe Street, Auckland. The winner will be selected randomly from all eligible entries. 
  6. Winner Notification: The winner will be notified by email and/or phone within two (2) business days of the draw date using the contact details provided to Southern Cross Travel Insurance. If the winner cannot be contacted within five (5) business days of the draw, or if they are unable to accept the prize, Southern Cross Travel Insurance reserves the right to redraw and select an alternative winner. 
  7. Prize Fulfilment: The refund will be processed via bank transfer within 10 business days of the winner confirming their acceptance of the prize and providing the necessary bank details (if applicable). The winner may be required to provide proof of purchase for their travel insurance policy.
